Since 2011, Marissa Nahanee provides authenticity and creativity for your all your event needs, including graphic design, corporate gifting and time management. We make it easy for you to deliver a memorable experience to your audience.
Previous experience, Nahanee worked with the Four Host First Nations Secretariat (FHFN) during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games on projects such as the Indigenous Youth Gathering, in which 300 youth performed in the Olympic Opening Ceremonies. TV appearances include Creative Native, My TV, Tribal Tracks and First Talk, as well as four documentaries, such as The Road Forward by Marie Clements, National Film Board of Canada. A graduate in Event Management at the Art Institute of Vancouver, Northwest Coast Art from the Native Education College, and Tourism Management from Simon Frasier University/Chief Dan George Centre.
Awards and Nominees:
Over 20 years experience in performing Traditional Native Dances, Songs and Public Speaking for corporate and community events both locally and internationally.
Develop, plan, market and execute high profile events.
Organize board of directors meetings, forums and workshops domestic and nationally.
Event management, including site selection/contract negotiation, transportation arrangements, hotel attrition/cancellation negotiations, production of meeting materials, registration/ database management, budgets, risk management and on-site management.
Graphic Design experience includes booklets, banners, posters, brochures, promotional material and business cards for events and clients; develop finish product for print, email, and social media; and work with artists to vectorize their art.
