Chinook Songcatchers
The Chinook SongCatchers are an established Indigenous Ambassadors rooted in the Unceeded Territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh People, known as the Greater Vancouver area, Squamish, and Whistler. Established in 1995 in the Village of Eslhá7an, located in North Vancouver BC, Canada. As ambassadors, the Chinook SongCatchers have engaged with Audiences on the world stage, as well as traveled several countries such as Africa, Ecuador, Europe, Japan, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Turkey. Today, the Chinook SongCatchers are working with new technology, by performing via video calling either live or pre-recorded.
